Interconnections
Like Cities, each Electric or Utility company has its own set of regulations for interconnecting new solar and storage systems to the grid. From complicated technical paperwork to extra equipment such as meters, interconnection hurdles can delay and add costs to any project. Avoid the wasted time and let YES Vault handle the interconnection for your project. Just tell us your project details and we will work with the Utility to get your system interconnected.
YES Vault works with your business model, not the other way around.
How our Interconnection service can help
-
Interconnections Done Right
YES Vaults will take care of the interconnection application. We will ask for some basic project info, including equipment, electrical configuration, and the Utility, and will handle the rest.
-
Avoid Hidden Costs
By applying in advance, gain early insight into any interconnection nuance prior to install. Learn about any unexpected costs in advance of install, such as an extra meter install or additional engineering.
-
Stay Efficient
Interconnection applications contain technical questions which often require followups with the Utility. We will stay on top of the communication and work to get your project’s interconnection completed fast.

How we work
-
We will ask about the details of your project, including specific information about the solar and storage equipment equipment plus electrical information. Some Utilities may also require that we submit the Project Contract and CAD Plansets.
-
We will complete and submit the Interconnection Application. Depending on the Utility and application, we may have some followup questions.
-
Utilities state that a solar or storage system’s interconnection can take several weeks. To speed things up, we will continue to followup with the Utility for updates and keep you posted. We will let you know as soon as the project is fully interconnected with the grid.
